ENAL AD 2.20  Local aerodrome regulations

1  AD availability
1.1 Except for emergency situations AD shall not be used by CIV or MIL ACFT with wingspan exceeding 61 M or length exceeding 63,7 M. Avinor may grant other exceptions based on an Approach and Departure Risk Assessment. Request must be send AD minimum 4 weeks prior to operations.
1.2 General permission: Pilots carrying PFLY card issued by Avinor whom operates in accordance with the regulation in AD 1.1 para 1.2 and 1.3 may use AD when it is CLSD, except for the period 2200 – 0600 (2100 – 0500).
1.3 Permission for other use of AD outside HR of OPS, REF AD 1.1 para 1.3, may be requested by a written application to AD ADMIN, REF ENAL AD 2.2.
1.4 AD is facilitated Level 2. All commercial flights, as well as General and Business Aviation with aircraft of ICAO Category B or higher, shall submit their schedules to the national Facilitator:

2  Parking and pushback procedure
2.1 Nose-in parking and pushback procedure are mandatory for all code C/D ACFT parking on ACFT-stands on the apron.

1  Radio communication failure
1.1 If experiencing Radio communication failure when flying VFR in CTR (REF AD 2 ENAL 6 - 1):
  1. Squawk 7600,

  2. Proceed via routes shown to and hold at Gjøsund or Rørvik at 500 FT,

  3. Flash LDG LGT and watch TWR for visual signals.

2  Low visibility operations (LVP)
2.1 Aerodrome marking and lighting details, table 2.9 and 2.14, and AD 2 ENAL 2 -1 (aerodrome chart) refers.
2.2 RVR 800 M or less:
Emergency power supply activated to ensure reaction in 1 - one - second.
2.3 RVR 550 M or less:
LVP activated in all segments. 1 - one - aircraft on the manoeuvring area at the time. No vehicles allowed on the manoeuvring area except ATC controlled cars for lead-in and RVR service. Normally TWY will use the shortest TWY to RWY in use.

Note: Lowest RVR for departure is 250 M.
Lowest RVR for departure in snow or when centre line is not visible is 550 M.

1  Differences from ICAO Annex 14 SARPS
1.1 Longitudinal slopes exceed requirements on parts of RWY, REF para 3.1.13.
1.2 The runway strip contains obstacles (antennas, instrument cabins, signs, wind direction indicators and anemometers), REF para 3.4.6 and chapter 9.9, REF AD 2 ENAL - Aerodrome Chart.
1.3 Longitudinal slopes on runway strip exceed requirements in some areas, REF para 3.4.13.
1.4 Transverse slopes on runway strip exceed requirements in some areas, REF para 3.4.15.
1.5 Longitudinal slopes exceed requirements on parts of eastern RESA, REF para 3.5.10.
1.6 Separation distance between RWY and parallel TWY A is less than prescribed REF para 3.9.7.

2.1 The light intensity for high intensity APCH LGT is adjustable in 5 stages, intensity 1 - 3 - 10 - 30 - 100 %, REF AD 1.1.
2.2 The light intensity for low intensity APCH LGT RWY 06 is adjustable in 3 stages, intensity 10 - 30 - 100 %.
2.3 The light intensity for sequenced flashing LGT is adjustable in 3 stages, intensity 10 - 30 - 100 %.
2.4 The light intensity for PAPI LGT is adjustable in 5 stages, intensity 1 - 3 - 10 - 30 - 100 %, REF AD 1.1.
