ENML AD 2.20  Local aerodrome regulations

1  AD availability
1.1 Except for emergency situations AD shall not be used by CIV or MIL ACFT with wingspan exceeding 61 M. Avinor may grant other exceptions based on an Approach and Departure Risk Assessment. Request must be send AD minimum 4 weeks prior to operations.
1.2 ENML is not included in the P-FLY scheme. Application for use of the airport outside published opening hours shall be sent to the airport administration at post@avinor.no at least three working days prior to the planned flight.
2  PRKG/Start-up
2.1 Nose-in parking and pushback procedure are mandatory for all ACFT parking on stands 1, 2, 3 or 4 in front of the terminal.
Nose-in parking is mandatory for all ACFT parking on stand 5 (reference code B) and 6 (reference code C) in front of maintenance building.

Note: Obligatory follow-me for taxing of ACFT code D,
via TWY C or D.

2.2 All IFR TFC to inform ATS before start-up.
3  PUSHBACK
3.1 Angled pushback to defined disconnection point for all code C aircraft.
4  TAXIING
4.1 3.1 During summer season medium and heavy aircraft are urged to make turns on RWY with caution due to soft asphalt.
4.2 Due to short distance to holding points, ACFT shall not initiate taxi after pushback, as long as “RWY OCCUPIED” is received from ATS.

ENML AD 2.21  Noise abatement procedures

1  General
1.1 Aircraft making visual approach to or visual climb out from the airport, shall, to the extent possible, avoid flying over densely populated areas.
2  Departure/climb-out northbound
2.1 When on visual climb out from RWY 07: Initiate a right turn southwest and avoid continuing right turn northbound until clear of populated areas east of Julsundet.
2.2 When on visual climb-out from RWY 25: Avoid right turn northbound until clear of populated areas east of Julsundet.

ENML AD 2.22  Flight Procedures

1  Radio communication failure
1.1 If experiencing RFC during VFR flight in TIZ, REF AD 2 ENML Visual Approach Chart:
  1. Squawk 7600,

  2. Proceed to APRX 0.5 NM SE of AD, hold at 500 FTHLDG 0,5 NM SE of TWR,

  3. Flash LDG LGTEnter holding at 500 FT,

  4. Look for light signals from camera mast APRX 350 M SE of apron,Watch TWR for visual signals.

  5. Molde AFIS TEL +47 75 54 16 47.

2  Approach/landing
2.1 Circling to RWY in use to be performed south of the airport.
3  Low visibility procedures
3.1 Low visibility procedures enabling low visibility take-off (LVTO) not established.
4  Procedure for operations in reduced visibility
4.1 RVR 1000 M or less:
Emergency power supply activated to ensure reaction in
1 - one - second.
4.2 RVR 800 M or less:
1 - one - ACFT on the manoeuvring area at the time. No vehicles allowed on the manoeuvring area except ATS controlled cars for leading or RVR service.
4.3 RVR 550 M or less:
LVP not established. No aircraft operations allowed.

ENML AD 2.23  Additional Information

1  Differences from ICAO Annex 14 SARPS
1.1 Longitudinal and transverse slope on the outer parts of RWY at western end is steeper than required. REF para 3.1.13 and 3.1.19.
1.2 The ungraded part of RWY strip contains obstacles; antennas, instrument cabins, buildings, fence, terrain and ACFT on apron. REF para 3.4.6.
1.3 Longitudinal and transverse slope on parts of the RWY strip is steeper than required. REF para 3.4.13 and 3.4.15.
1.4 Longitudinal slope on GA apron as well as stand 5 and 6 is steeper than required. REF para 3.13.5.
1.5 RWY AHEAD is used as mandatory instruction marking.

2  Differences from ICAO DOC 8168 VOL II - Construction of Visual and Instrument Flight Procedures
2.1 RNAV(GNSS) RWY 25
The procedure does not comply with the PANS-OPS criteria for straight-in approach. Final approach course intersects RWY CL less than 1400 M from THR.
2.2 LOC Z RWY 25
The procedure does not comply with the PANS-OPS criteria for straight-in approach. Final approach course intersects RWY CL less than 1400 M from THR.
3  Special requirements for operators performing commercial transportation into Molde airport
3.1 Category B - The operator shall develop a crew briefing relevant for the airport (REF ORO.FC.105).

3.3 The operator shall evaluate the need for setting special crosswind and/or tailwind limits based on AIP specified runway/strip/ RESA conditions.
3.4 The operator shall evaluate the need for setting a restrictive lower limit for runway status (RWYCC) based on AIP specified runway/strip/ RESA conditions.
3.5 The operator shall document custom engine failure procedures, takeoff and landing mass calculations including contaminated runway conditions according to GRF standards (REF. AMC1 CAT.OP.MPA.303(e)).
3.6 The aircraft operator shall document fulfilment of the requirements above to CAA Norway at least 14 days prior to commencing operations. Instructions on how to declare compliance is listed in a downloadable pdf-file here: https://avinor.no/en/ais/pilot-briefing/. CAA Norway will, after evaluating the documentation and finding it adequate, issue a letter of compliance. A copy of this letter has to be carried by the crew and presented to local airport authorities or representatives of CAA Norway on request.
4  Approach and runway lights
4.1 RWY 07 LGT not independently balanced adjusting of THR LGT and RWY edge LGT.
4.2 RWY 25 LGT not independently balanced adjusting of THR LGT and RWY edge LGT.
4.3 The light intensity for sequenced flashing lights is adjustable in
3 stages, intensity 10 - 30 - 100 %.
4.4 The light intensity for APCH, THR, aiming point, RWY edge and RWY end LGT is adjustable in 5 stages, intensity 1 - 3 - 10 - 30 - 100 %, REF AD 1.1.
4.5 The light intensity for PAPI LGT is adjustable in 5 stages, intensity 1 - 3 - 10 - 30 - 100 %, REF AD 1.1.
5  Caution
5.1 Wind shear/eddies may occur on short final RWY 25. Wind 290-020 DEG above 25 KT.
